One particular moment that's caught the headlines is a steamy shower scene with his mysterious lover, played by Felix Mayr, a Swedish actor known for Unorthodox
and Meg 2: The Trench.
As well as the more explicit moments the video embraces gay desire and affection through scenes of physical closeness which puts gay intimacy front and centre. |

Troye Sivan is clearly proud of the result. On his social media account he wrote, "Somehow I have made the gayest music video of my career", he laughs.
"Like this is GAY gay!"
Troye Sivan gained popularity as a singer on YouTube and in Australian talent competitions. He signed with EMI Australia in 2013 and earned early recognition for his extended plays (EPs) TRXYE (2014) and Wild (2015); the former peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard 200, while his debut single, Happy Little Pill, reached the Top 10 on Australian music charts. Before the launch of this new venture, Troye Sivan has sold 10 million albums worldwide. As an actor, Troye portrayed the younger Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and starred as the title character in the Spud film trilogy (2010-2014). In 2017, he became the youngest recipient of the GLAAD Stephen F. Kolzak Award. In 2018, he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for Revelation, from the film Boy Erased, in which he also had a supporting acting role. He has since starred in the film Three Months (2022) and the HBO series The Idol (2023). In 2020, Rolling Stone Australia named him one of the country's 50 greatest artists of all time. Troye Sivan came out publicly as gay via a YouTube video in 2013, three years after coming out to his family. He stated that he wanted the video to be out because he did not want his sexuality to be a secret from EMI Australia as he was in negotiations with them at the time for a record deal and had not yet discussed his sexuality with them. Troye Sivan has a mild form of Marfan syndrome making him "super thin, with long bendy fingers, and a high palate" which he considers "weird". He has
also suffered from body image issues.
In an interview with Billboard, Troye said "I think that everyone's body is as beautiful as it is, including my own, and it just sucks to see people talking about other people's bodies. In the lead-up to releasing his album She's the Best, he was busy on social media posting suggestive photos of himself, so it seems he no longer has an issue with showing off his body. |

It was some postings on Troye Sivan's private social media account that really raised some eyebrows. Originally kept hush-hush, earlier this year the
31-year-old star told fans to follow his "finsta," a fake secondary Instagram account where celebs share more personal content, writing
that he posts "with abandon" there.
The day before the U.S. release of She's the Best, Sivan posted photos of himself in a hoodie and glasses on his Instagram Stories, along with messages about the time he almost joined an adult entertainment website. He said that he loves "selling my body to get streams," before talking about thinking the website Only Fans might be the solution to the financial pressures of manking a video. | |

"When we were tight on budget for a video I genuinely considered making a feet OF," he wrote, but "Then we got brand money."
Troye hasn't been shy about showing off his feet in the past, and when he advertised his "finsta", a private account to which you can request access, he posted a feet pic. He hasn't actually joined OF so far to date. |

Troye Sivan shares an intimate glimpse of imagined love in this music video for FF - Fucking Forever. He stars alongside actor Felix Mayr in a video that's
been directed by Gordon von Steiner and filmed on Fire Island, just off the southern shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York.
The song explores the longing for a lasting relationship with someone he has yet to meet. Troye Sivan has described it as a love song to an unknown future partner, with the video bringing that imagined connection to life through scenes of affection, desire and closeness.
