International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission  A worldwide organisation which aims to protect and advance the human rights of all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status.

International Lesbian & Gay Association  Worldwide federation of national and local groups dedicated to achieving equal rights for LGBT people everywhere.

LCLGR  The Labour Campaign for Lesbian & Gay Rights is an active lobby group within the Labour party and the trade union movement.

Leicester Lesbian & Gay Action  A campaigning group of gays and lesbians in Leicestershire and Rutland.

Lesbian and Gay Employment Rights  Independent organisation which helps lesbian and gay men who are experiencing discrimination on the basis of their sexuality while at work or while looking for work. Provides free and confidential advice.

Lesbian and Gay Police Association  Formed in 1990 LAGPA has grown to include members in nearly every police force in the UK. Aims to work toward equal opportunities for lesbian and gay police service employees.

Log Cabin Republicans  Founded in 1991, the LCR is composed of women and men who are gay or gay friendly. The organisation believes in an ethically credible Republican government.

Outcast  An excellent and controversial independent magazine for queers and others who are interested in the ongoing struggle for lesbian, gay and bisexual human rights. It's now closed but their website contains a selection of previously published articles.

Outrage!  A broad based group of queers committed to radical, non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to further the rights of gay men and women. Co-founded by Peter Tatchell. Great at getting headlines...but not always of the most positive kind!
