Walking Away With Awards
Almost all of the films at this years festival are award winning. Those that haven't won awards yet are pretty certain to do so this year. One film that has collected a particular large crop of awards is Walking on Water. Tony Ayres showed us his shiny things.

You've written various feature length films before. What attracted you to Roger Monk's script?

Roger Monk’s wonderful script strength is in its fundamental and heartfelt truth. He has been involved with Walking on Water from its scripting, initially as Script Editor and later as Director.

Walking on Water is powerfully emotional. How did it make you feel?

At times hypnotically intense, at other times surprisingly funny, Walking on Water is a compassionate and optimistic film about the way that grief can bring out the best and worst in human nature.

You've been the winner of a clutch of awards. What are they?
