It's usually safe to take pregabalin with other medicines.

For safety, tell your doctor before you start taking pregabalin if you're taking:

strong opioid painkillers such as morphine, codeine or oxycodone
medicines that make you feel sleepy or dizzy - pregabalin can make these side effects worse

Mixing pregabalin with herbal remedies and supplements

There's not enough information to say that complementary medicines and herbal remedies are always safe to take with pregabalin. They're not tested in the same way as pharmacy and prescription medicines. They're generally not tested for the effect they have on other medicines.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you're taking any other medicines, including herbal remedies, vitamins or supplements.
